About Me
Hi, my name is Kathryn Hori, and just like you, I'm on my own journey to health and wellness. My passion is aging well! Growing older is inevitable, but that doesn't have to mean getting 'old'. Vibrant health at all stages of life is possible and attainable! Through diet and lifestyle, health and wellness can be maintained lifelong.
At age 50 I was beginning to have a lot of aches and pains. Walking up and down stairs caused pain in my hips, and I was even beginning to have a slight limp when walking. Through diet and lifestyle changes I have been able to reverse this, increase my strength and endurance and eliminate aches and pains.
Although I have had several setbacks, (emergency surgery for ruptured appendix, and a rear end car accident), I have recovered well, and I continue to work toward maintaining and improving my health and I am excited to share my knowledge with others.
I am also passionate about helping young families to raise healthy children. You've heard the old proverb, "train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Prov. 22:6 Too many of our young people are already struggling with Type II Diabetes and obesity. Researchers have discovered that evidence of the beginnings of cardiovascular disease can be found in very young children and adolescents. I want to help parents give their children the best chance for a long and healthy life, by teaching how to promote wellness, and build super immunity, and healthy long life habits.
No matter what age, you're never too old or too young to start your journey to a healthy life, body, mind and spirit!
I look forward to working with you to find your happy, healthy balance.
